States Licensed: NJ, NY, ME, PA, FL Specialties include: Anxiety, depression, mood disorders/bipolar disorder, trauma, substance abuse/addiction, wellness and recovery, woman’s issues, life transitions and family systems issues. I have been an approved Clinical Supervisor since 2014. Earning a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Public Policy Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University in 2009, my background spans a variety of settings including work in a maximum-security prison, inpatient psychiatric units, providing community-based case management, therapy services and supervision, serving as crisis clinician in hospital emergency departments as well as providing both in-home therapy and more traditional counseling services within group therapy practices. I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including psycho-education, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and strengths based practices. I also enjoy incorporating less traditional approaches to treatment highlighting fitness, nutrition, and mind/body connectivity. It has been my great pleasure to witness the determination, strength and resiliency of the human spirit during my years as a clinician; where there are periods of darkness, there is also light at the end of every tunnel. As humans we all seek love, acceptance and understanding; my goal is to provide a safe space where clients feel supported, relaxed and nurtured as you begin your therapeutic journey.

I believe that real change starts with real talk. In our sessions, I balance empathy with directness. I’ll support you fully and I’ll also challenge you to face the patterns and truths that may be holding you back. My approach is therapeutic yet straightforward, with warmth, humor, and clarity at the center of our work. My approach combines warmth and compassion with clear, constructive feedback. I’ll encourage self-reflection, challenge unhelpful patterns, and provide practical strategies for growth. I have experience working in both group and private practice settings, helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and major life transitions. I particularly enjoy working with couples , romantic issues and young adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of surface-level fixes. I draw from a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and humanistic work, tailoring each session to your unique needs. Above all, I bring a therapeutic style that is compassionate, but unafraid to be blunt when it helps move you forward. Together, we’ll focus on uncovering what’s real so that meaningful change can finally take root.
